Founded by innovator Mike Tsinberg, holder of over 40 digital video and HDTV patents, Key Digital designs and engineers its products in-house at its USA headquarters in Mount Vernon, New York. The result of meticulous research, development and testing, Key Digital products showcase the company’s extensive, unparalleled technical knowledge and expertise, as well as its market-driven approach, serving as a partner to consultants, designers, and system integration firms in the A/V industry.

Key Digital works as its clients’ extended engineering team, developing customized solutions for specific applications. Key Digital is an lnfoComm, CEDIA, CES, and NAHB award-winning manufacturer.

Mike Tsinberg, Founder & CEO

Key Digital®, led by digital video pioneer Mike Tsinberg, develops and manufactures high quality, cutting-edge technology solutions for virtually all applications where high-end video and control are important. Key Digital® is at the forefront of the video industry for commercial ProAV installations, home theater, and custom installations for consumers.

Mike and his Key Digital® team of experts in digital video technology and solutions engineer, design, and manufacture a wide range of products that enable video products to work together, seamlessly, flawlessly, exceeding the highest standards of video quality. Mike, a true video industry expert, developed key technology used in ATSC HDTV transmission system, led the Emmy-award winning DVD authoring team, is a Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) Fellow, inventor of forty patents, and chair of numerous professional committees dedicated to digital video.

As President of Key Digital®, Mike is in a unique position to infuse the best features, technology, and value into his products. Mike helps develop high-quality, cutting-edge technology and interconnectivity solutions, at affordable prices.

  • Developed key technology used in the ATSC digital HDTV transmission system used across North America and South Korea.
  • "Father of DVD" — developed the architecture and system software for worlds first Digital Video Disk (DVD) MPEG-2 based authoring system.
